Nuno Liladar Mourão started his studies at the age of 10 with João Brito, at the Escola de Música de Nossa Senhora do Cabo. Later, he continued his studies in both conservatories in Lisbon, studying with Ricardo Ramos in Escola de Superior de Música de Lisboa, Roberto Erculiani and Vera Dias in Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra. Currently, he is finishing his master studies in the Royal Conservatory of the Hague with Alban Wesly and Bram Van Sambeek.
In the Netherlands he became a member of the Nationaal Jeugdorkest (NJO) working with Anthony Hermus and had a lot of experience playing in contemporary ensembles such as New European Ensemble and Asko|Schönberg Ensemble.
