Jana Vukicevic is a violinist with unrestrainable energy, enthusiasm and passion, who learnt and is still learning and developing the ability to direct these qualities into music. From the age of 11, she has started to earn first prizes on republic and international competitions (in Serbia, Slovenia, Italy, Luxembourg, etc.)for solo playing. Apart from that, she has also expressed a lot of interest in chamber music and orchestra. With several ensembles (string quartets, duos, trios, quintets) she went on republic competitions and different masterclasses, and showed the ability of being a very flexible, engaged and reliable player, whom many find it easy to work with in a team. During the years of her studies in the Netherlands, she has also shown the ability of being a good leader and concert master of symphony or chamber orchestra at her University, as well as an assistant concertmaster in the NationaalJeugdorkest. She has had the opportunity of having many recitals during the years of her primary and high school, as well as solo performances with orchestras (with ArtLink orchestra for young talents, orchestra of the School for young talents in Cuprija, with the National army orchestra in Serbia).
