After experimenting with a few instruments, Francesco fell in love with the trumpet at the age of 10. He began studying under maestro Giovanni Grandi, with whom he continued until the end of high school music school. He graduated in trumpet at the conservatory “Claudio Monteverdi” in Bolzano with masters Marco Pierobon and Giancarlo Parodi and specialized at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with masters Erwin ter Bogt and Gertjan Loot. He has participated in masterclasses with the following professors: Stephen Burns; Omar Tomasoni; Allen Vizzutti; Malcom Mcnab; Andrea Tofanelli. In 2018 he passed the audition for the “Obiettivo Orchestra” course in collaboration with the Philharmonic of the Teatro Regio in Turin.
In the year 2019 he was eligible as first trumpet at the audition for the orchestra of the Perosi Academy of Turin. He has been fortunate to collaborate with: the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento; the Rotterdam Sinfonia; the orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin; the National Balletorkest in Amsterdam. And with the following conductors: Daniel Oren; Donato Renzetti; Francesco Ivan Ciampa; Juray Valcuha. He also has experience in teaching having been a trumpet professor from 2014 to 2020 of the Junior Band “Mauro Moruzzi” and the music school “Pontesound” in Cremona. He now lives in Den Haag as a freelancer and teacher.
