Erten Deniz İspir werd geboren in een muzikale familie en maakte zijn debuut als solist op 14-jarige leeftijd.
Al vroeg speelde hij regelmatig met symfonieorkesten zoals onder andere het Yaroslavl Philharmonic Orchestra in Rusland, het Dnipropetrovsk Philharmonic Orchestra in Oekraïne en het İzmir State Symphonic Orchestra in Turkije.
Onder zijn internationale optredens werkte hij in 2019 samen met het Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest en zijn chef-dirigent Marc Albrecht.
Na zijn afstuderen aan het Staatsconservatorium van de Çukurova Universiteit ging hij in 2014 op uitnodiging naar het Tsjaikovski Conservatorium van Moskou om les te krijgen van Sergej Kravtsjenko. Vervolgens rondt hij zijn bachelorstudie aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam af bij violiste Ilya Grubert.
Deniz wordt ondersteund door de Contemporary Education Foundation. Deniz speelt op een viool (1797 Johannes T. Cuypers) deze is hem tot beschikking gesteld door het Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds.
Born in a musician family, Deniz made his debut as soloist at the age of 14. By that time he was already touring the Europe and Turkey with children orchestra.
He continued playing with symphony orchestras regularly in Turkey and from 2009 performs with orchestras such as Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, Yaroslavl Philharmonic Orchestra, Dnipropetrovsk Philharmonic Orchestra, İzmir State Symphonic Orchestra, Antalya State Symphony Orchestra, Adana State Symphony Orchestra, Anadolu University Symphonic Orchestra, Betuws Symphony Orchestra and others. Amongst his international performances he collaborated with Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and its chief conducter great Marc Albrecht in 2019.
Played in some of the most spectacular halls of the world such as Great Hall and Small Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Wiener Konzerthaus, Essen Philarmonie, Beethovenhalle, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ and others.
Through his musical life had the chance and privilage to learn from eminent violinists such as Shlomo Mintz, Hagai Shaham, Mincho Minchev, Cihat Aşkın, Suna Kan, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Ani Schnarch, Svetlin Roussev, Alexander Markov, Sergey Kravchenko, Natalia Prishepenko, Liviu Prunaru, Simone Lamsma, Liza Ferschtman and Ilya Grubert.
Deniz has acquired the titles of, finalist in Grazyna Bacewicz International Competition in 2019, second prize winner in İlhan Özsoy International Competition in 2014, second prize winner at Rhodos International Violin Competition in 2012, honorary medal winner at the Gülden Turalı Violin Competition in 2008.
After his graduation from Çukurova University State Conservatory, he entered to Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory to class of Sergey Kravchenko by invitation in 2014. However he finished his bachelor studies in 2020 at the Amsterdam Conservatıry in the class of outstanding violinist Ilya Grubert. Recently, he concluded his Master studies with a “Cum Laude” (Honorary Degree) at the Amsterdam Conservatory in the class of Ilya Grubert.
Deniz is supported by Contemporary Education Foundation and Dutch Musical Instrument Foundation (NMF). Plays on a violin made by Nicola Lupot on 1808 and a bow made by Remy Maire on 1850 from the “Tettelaar Collection” on generous loan from NMF.
