Prize-winning Turkish flautist, started her formal musical education at the age of 11 with Sibel Ayhan Bayer when she was accepted to Uludag University State Conservatory. In 2012, in the fifth year of her education, she was accepted to the Dogus Kids Symphony Orchestra, directed by Rengim Gökmen. She took part at many concerts given by this orchestra in different cities of Turkey for 2 years. In 2016, she was accepted to the Turkish Youth Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Cem Mansur and participated in many concerts abroad such as Lisbon, Alicante, Grona, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Bratislava, Warsaw and Vienna. She finished her undergraduate degree with Cem Önertürk. During four years of her education; she gave a concert as a soloist with Uludag University Youth Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Academic Başkent, she participated and won prizes in international flute competition by European Music Academy in Varna, and International Young Musicians Chamber Music Competition in Edirne with Alegria woodwind quintet.

In 2019, Elif moved to Rotterdam where she finished two years of her post-graduate degree with an excellent grade at Codarts, University of the Arts under the direction of Prof. Juliette Hurel. She has played in masterclasses with international artists including Agata Igras SAWICKA, Prof. A. Gülşen TATU, Joséphine Olech and Silvia Careddu. Last year, she took part in the concerts of Doelen Ensemble, and Rotterdam Chamber Music Society of which she is still a member.

Since 2021, Elif has been giving performances with Antonio Persak, with whom she co-founded Duo Elnio. As well as exploring the flute & guitar duo repertoire from Baroque to Contemporary music, elnio’s energy has been directed towards also performing Balkan music, and folk music of different countries.
