Beste Yıldız was born on 12 September 2001 in Adana / Turkey. He started his music education at Çukurova University State Conservatory at age 9 with Viatcheslav Kainov. In 2013, Yıldız was awarded the 1st prize in the International Belgrad Music Competition in Serbia. Throughout the past decade, Beste attended the masterclasses of Marie Kliegel, Giovanni Sollima, Joachim Eijlander, Umberto Glerici, Harro Ruijsenaars, Zlatomir Fung, Roger Regster, Sietse-Jan Weijenberg, Çağ Erçağ, Dilbağ Tokay and Fazıl Say. In 2018, after being a regular member of Doğuş Çocuk Symphony Orchestra Yıldız became the principal cello in 2019. Between the years of 2019 and 2022, Beste became a member of the Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, where he has given concerts in several countries.
In 2021-2022, Beste became the cello principal of the National Youth Orchestra. In 2019, after auditioning at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague to continue his bachelor studies, Beste got accepted to Larissa Groeneveld’s class. Within the first few years of his studies in the Netherlands, Beste had the chance to work in a number of different chamber music settings, in which he got to meet his current ensembles; Kali and Orochi. Currently, Beste continues his bachelor studies in the 4th year bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Larissa Groeneveld.
