Almudena was born in Madrid, Spain. She started her violin studies at an early age. She finished her BMus in violin in Salamanca with Marc Oliu in 2019. By the time she was sixteen, she started to play viola. She studied first with Ana María Alonso, and then with Jaime Huertas. In September 2019 she moved to The Netherlands to deepen in this instrument under the tutelage of Mikhail Zemtsov in The Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.
Her interest in ensemble playing led her to currently be part of Libero Strijkorkest (NL), Agathe Ensemble (NL), JONDE (Spanish Youth Orchestra), Orquesta del Liceo de Salamanca (SP). And also, to collaborate with other ensembles like Ciconia Consort (The Hague). https://youtu.be/cTMrNVAbScg
