Festivities for the 40th anniversary of El Ele school for dance and music in Arnhem

The 40th anniversary of El Ele school for dance and music from Arnhem Presikhaaf was celibrated with a festive concert afternoon, with the Reisorkest Arnhem (ROA) conducted by Kanako Abe, with the singers Esra Dalfidan and Shaza Hayek and with various guest musicians, teachers and students of El Ele.

Orchestra members and team

The musicians of the new ReisOrkest already play in various orchestras throughout the country (some of them also internationally) with which they have already built up their spurs in the classical music world.
The ReisOrkest will tour various concert halls in the country under the direction of conductor Kanako Abe, with a nice start in their hometown Arnhem, in the concert hall of Musis & Stadstheater.
The arrangements of the concerts are provided by composer Selim Dogru. Kardelen Buruk is production manager and also plays the viola. Founder and director is Nermin Cingöz.

The musical journey continues!

The orchestra brings together worldly classical sounds, from Japan, Turkey, Latin America and the Balkan countries. With the concerts that the ReisOrkest will give, this new worldly classical sound goes on a journey. While traveling, they will inspire people during the concerts and discover new cultures and versatile sounds together. The ReisOrkest wants to enrich the classical music culture with these new sounds.

On March 26th we played in Arnhem. After this concert, the ReisOrkest Arnhem will continue the musical story journey on 29 October in the Deventer Schouwburg. In spring ’24 we play again in Arnhem, and in the summer also on concert stages in Amsterdam, among others.

These programs will be communicated here as soon as possible.
